INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE OF THE WINDOWS

INSTALLATION

If the walls of the windows are not plastered yet, in no case do not remove the pads (logs) between the masonry and the frame - they ensure the smooth functioning of the window sash and should NOT be removed. The pads will remain in the plaster.

After completing the installation, please clean the lower case with a vacuum cleaner using a nozzle tip. Any metal shavings left over from the installation can cause rust stains.

After installing the window (s) you should remove the protective foil (stickers). In the event of further repairs to protect the window (s) from contamination, only foil types recommended by the system supplier or the window manufacturer should be used.

OPERATION

Quality hardware is installed on the windows purchased by you. Make sure that the window handle is always in a vertical position (up / down) or in a horizontal position.

Leaving the handle in an intermediate position can cause it to open incorrectly (except when a special fitting is installed to provide a ventilation gap). It is possible to obtain that in the upper open position of the wing, the same can be rotated on a vertical axis. Don't be afraid! The so-called "scissors" of the fitting firmly hold the wing at the upper end. Move the handle up (top opening position), close the window and then turn the handle to a horizontal position (opening on a vertical axis).

For the proper functioning of the window, the movable elements (fittings) must be lubricated with oil (acid-free) at least twice a year.

The window sash, depending on the type of fitting, should always be closed as follows:

Closed - the handle vertically down;

Fully open - the handle is horizontal;

For ventilation - the handle vertically upwards - only when the sash is combined.

However, never get greasy:

plain bearing bearings;

scissors and backs of fittings for two-plane opening.

Do not hang anything (except blinds with the intended weight) on the window sash - this may lead to difficult closing, sagging and other problems.

CLEANING THE CASE AND WING

Normally soiled case and wing can be easily cleaned with lukewarm water to which dishwashing detergent has been added.

The window is cleaned with warm water and a suitable soft cloth, and for more stubborn dirt can be added, designed for this purpose, detergent.

Rust stains - such stains can also appear as a result of metal contaminants from the air.

Heavily soiled windows can be cleaned effortlessly with the help of special cleaners. You will find this cleaner at the company that delivered the windows to you.

IMPORTANT!

Do not use abrasive cleaning materials!

Do not use aggressive preparations containing solvents, acetone and others.

Do not use hard and / or cutting objects (spatulas, razor blades, household wires or wire brushes, etc.)!

Do not clean "dry" with a dust cloth!

SEALS

The seals along the frame and sash also need to be cleaned of dust and other contaminants. If the seal comes out of its groove, it is enough to press it with your thumb, starting from the place where the seal is "lying".

Do not use sharp and / or cutting objects - you may damage the seal, as a result of which you will cause an additional complication (blowing).

GLASS CLEANING

The windows are best cleaned with clean warm water and a towel and specialty detergents available commercially. If necessary, dishwashing detergent can be added to the water.

Avoid the use of corrosive or solvent-containing preparations!

GLASS

Unlike the old single glazing, through the new glazing with which your window (s) are glazed, everything is visible without the presence of image deformation. This is due to their extremely flat surface. Sometimes at a certain angle of refraction of light it is possible to see colors with the colors of the rainbow. This is a physical phenomenon and does not constitute a defect and / or a ground for complaint.

CONDENSE

Under certain climatic conditions, both the glass and the frame can "sweat" - this is the result of a "meeting" of warm and cold air. The phenomenon is most often observed when high humidity and low outdoor temperatures are combined.

A prerequisite for maximum prevention of this phenomenon is proper ventilation!

VENTILATION

Regular ventilation of the premises - prevents the increase of air humidity, and hence the possible formation of mold / mildew.

Ventilate regularly (3-4 times), causing drafts, by opening all available windows in the home / office - depending on the outside temperatures for about 5 minutes.

The fogging of the window is a signal that the room must be ventilated!

HARDWARE CARE

Once a year all mobile parts.
